Bob James brought his "Urban Flamingo" band to Jazz Alley for a long weekend stand.

The 2007 edition of Bumbershoot featured several musical treats. Let's start with NYC's Soulive.

Sara Gazarek returned to her hometown, Seattle, for two nights to launch her new release, Return to You, and John Scofield, played for a packed mid-week house, both at Jazz Alley.

And to keep the page alive, some recent images from the archives, starting with New York guitarist Marc Ribot.

In October, Cote d'Ivoire born Dobet Gnahoré made her North American debut at Jazz Alley as part of Putumayo Music's Acoustic Africa tour.

- Alex Acuna on percussion, Dave Grusin on keys, and Brian Bromberg on bass, filled Jazz Alley for a multi-day run in late August, not long after Kenny Rankin filled it with his remarkable tenor and interpretive song stylings.

Steve Molitz and his band Particle played the Bumbrella Stage on Labor Day at Bumbershoot, two days after British blue-eyed-neo-soul artist Jamie Lidell powered through his one-man-show.
