Ivan Lins, the acclaimed Brazilian composer and singer, performed with all his usual passion, but without the use of his voice. He was suffering from a viral infection of his vocal chords, but performed anyway.

He whistled his melodies, danced with his keyboard, and couldn't refrain from soft vocalizing with what little voice he had. Ivan's band included electric guitarist Leonardo Amuedo.
