I watch this every day, but the changes really sneak up on you. All of a sudden, the grade on the upper lot has risen to the point it's overhead in the NW corner. All the way across the north end, the slope is getting increasingly steep. Compare it to the 20th.

The trucks keep flowing through, but the real change is the terrain is all due to the incredible efficiency of two pieces of equipment and the guys that operate them. The CAT D6H track loader ('dozer) and the Pro Pac 115 vibrating compactor. Yes, vibrating. This thing has variable frequency control to adjust the vibration to the natural resonant frequency of the material (dirt) being compacted. Cool. It exerts centrifugal force up to 55,000 lb. Who would have known?

Of course, the soil continues to be tested. Did you read the report? And new fencing is going in along the western perimeter of the upper lot.
