Bet you never thought you'd be reading about "wheel washes," but that's the big advance today.

Along with continuing the drainage prep, the crew built a new one at the southwest corner of the east lot, because the dirt flow into this area has really picked up.

These things are big - long, wide, and deep. But they make a huge difference. The street sweeper has been working overtime while they readied this one.

Not related to the OSP, but interesting, was the arrival of the W.C. Park Responder (below - not sure why it was here) - an Oil Spill Response Vessel. Once named the OSVR Washington Responder, it was renamed for William Park in recognition of his years of service to oil spill response and protection of the marine environment. Mr. Park was a 2000 Legacy Award Winner.
