Another day, another parade of trucks bringing more dirt. The grade continues to rise, but not much to see in the way of change.
The most significant event, it seems, is they started to excavate and regrade the east lot, at Broad between Western and Elliott (below - right).
The truck drivers are very adept at maneuvering big, two-trailer, loads of dirt around. One thing they make look easy is jack-knifing the rear-trailer out of the way so they can empty the front-trailer (below - left). Kudos to the SPD, doing a good job of managing truck flow and minimizing traffic delays.
