With the January 20th opening just 6 weeks away, Ellsworth Kelly's Untitled (Wall Relief) 1981 has taken its place at the Pavilion's north plaza.
The Aspen grove's understory planting is near completion and mulching has begun, and the utilities and fountain infrastructure for Louise Bourgeois' Father and Son is taking shape.
Soil has been brought into the north shore planting bed, leading to the
pocket beach where the landscaping is already taking hold.
Museum staff are putting finishing touches on Anthony Caro's Riviera installation on the Pavilion's north plaza, and Pedro Reyes' Capulas are hanging inside, providing striking contrast to the vertical bars of the Pavilion's exterior stainless steel paneling.
