Tremendous progress has been made since the last update. Four major components of the park have taken on their own personalities, and redefined the character of the property.
The Pavilion walls, beams and roof are in place, visually connecting the park to surrounding buildings, and framing the view of the namesake Olympic Mountains.
The east abuttment for the Seattle Cloud Cover bridge is completed, and the west side is under construction.
The pocket beach at the top of the property is completed, and is being detailed by the tides.
And the concrete pre-cast panels lining the entrances to the Elliott Ave Pedestrian Bridge extend the park's recurring Z theme to the street and sky.
